Traveling across the US continues to be one of America's greatest pastimes.  With 63 National Parks to discover, I can see why.

When one of my friends commissioned me to design and build him a National Parks Travel Map Tracker, I had no idea how popular this adventure would be.  So much so that I designed a whole lineup of National Parks items including (2) versions of this travel map wall plaque for families to keep track of their adventures as well as a series of Drink Coasters.

The US National Park Service, established in 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson was commissioned to "conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wildlife therein and leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations."

Product Description:  This two-layer wall tracker includes the US National Park Service Emblem proudly in the center of the design.  Overall measurements are nearly 12" x 18" with the individual tiles at just over 1.15" square.

Bottom Layer: Engraved MDF with each of the National Park names, states, and dates of establishment in order from left to right and top to bottom.

Top Layer: Constructed of 1/8" thick Maple with the words "The US National Parks" engraved.

National Parks Emblem: The National Parks Emblem is made with both Maple and Walnut cutouts at 1/8" thick.

National Park Tokens (Cherry): Each of the National Parks is sized at 1.15" square, 1/4" thick and has its own unique design, and fits snugly into its corresponding slot on the board.

Artwork Credit: I could not have made such a beautiful piece without the talents of Kyle of Golden Ochre (Etsy) in Las Vegas.  I commissioned Kyle in May of 2022 to design all these US National Park tokens.  He had around 30 completed when I first noticed his work and I knew I had to have him complete them for this project.
